Eduardo Terán
I am an architect, researcher, and educator based in New York and Madrid, currently teaching architecture at Syracuse School of Architecture. My work explores infrastructural relationships, data management, and their architectural implications.Recent projects include Data Tactics (2024) at Cornell University, a study on data infrastructures and spatial strategies, and Post—Lands (2024) at the John Hartell Gallery, addressing territorial transformations and post-extraction landscapes. In 2022, I received the Prize of Excellence from Space Group in Seoul for Data Monumentality, research on data civicness and urban vertical connectors in NYC. I co-curated the Common Clouds exhibition in Berlin (2023) with Jesse LeCavalier, exploring technology and architectural typologies. I was the Design Teaching Fellow at Cornell AAP (2023-2024). I hold an MS in Advanced Architectural Design (Cornell, 2022), where I received the Award for Outstanding Performance, and both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from Universidad de Alcalá. Previously, I taught at Montana State University and co-founded Momentum Magazine, a platform for architectural manifestos. My work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale, Madrid Chamber of Architecture, Spanish Royal Academy in Rome, and Cornell University.
In my teaching practice I collaborate with cutting-edge architects and thinkers, including Omar Ali, Saba Salekfard, Il-Hwan Kim, Edgar Rodriguez, Tim Stenson, Nathan Williams, and Craig Sinclair. I collaborate with Alejandro Carrasco, Veronica Paulon and Valeria Villanova.
